Echo TheoryPrivacy Policy
Who we are
Echo Theory ("we," "us") runs echotheory.app (the "Site"). You can reach us at hello@echotheory.app.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you ask for the free template.
- Whether you ticked the optional product-updates box, and the date you signed up.
- Anything you choose to send us by email, such as your name and your message.
We don't ask for payment information. Nothing is for sale on the Site.
How we use it
- To give you the free template you asked for.
- To reply when you email us.
- Only if you ticked the box: to email you about the Echo Theory toolkit, such as when it becomes available. Every such email will include an unsubscribe link and our postal address. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we'll honor it within 10 business days.
Asking for the free template does not sign you up for product emails. That happens only if you tick the box.
Cookies and analytics
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't use tracking pixels. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the Site from abuse.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We use a few service providers to run the Site and our email: Cloudflare, which hosts the Site, stores sign-ups, and forwards our email, and Google (Gmail), where our inbox is kept. They handle information only to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your sign-up until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep emails as long as needed to answer them and for our normal records.
Your choices
Email hello@echotheory.app to unsubscribe, see what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll respond within a reasonable time. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no website or email system is completely secure.
Children
The Site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Where we operate
Echo Theory is based in the United States, and information is processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll give at least 14 days' notice on the Site (and by email if you've signed up), and we won't use that information in a materially different way without your consent.
